Another great classic galena from the historic lead mines in Ireland. This cluster of three modified octahedron crystals is sharply formed, with a brilliant metallic luster. A great piece for the collector who wants a very nice example of this old world galena and at a great price. Minor edge wear present but in general, the crystals are in very good condition. The modified octohedron is actually not so common from here as the twinned habit above. 5.4 x 3.2 x 2.5 cm(CHECK - may not be from Ireland - JPR 04/11/2006)
