Emerald-green, gemmy dioptase crystals to 7 mm RICHLY and aesthetically line a vertical vug set in calcite matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from an UNCOMMON dioptase locality - the Dumesnil Quarry, Cordoba, Argentina. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. Dave worked and lived in Buenos Aires and purchased this there during that time.
