A spongy, limonitic, matrix is the host for hundreds of bladed, lustrous, yellowish-tan crystals of wulfenite, to .85 cm across. Specimens from this old American classic mine are now scarce in the mineral market. Most were mined prior to WWI. This is a good showy, large piece with rich coverage.
