This exquisite crystal is a large gold crystal, to be so sharply preserved without the usual rounded wear and chips. Most from this location of this size are deformed in some way, even from this prolific locality. This wonderful, elongated gold specimen is dramatically spinel-twinned with hopper growth in some faces and it exhibits classic Venezuelan habit from these finds of the late 1990s and early 2000s. A competitive level thumbnail specimen for people who like crystals for their quality as opposed to weight. It displays magnificently, with a nice golden-toned patina, and frankly I like it either side up... personal choice, there. Ex Irv Brown thumbnail collection.
