A classic Vernon Calcite specimen featuring a few very good sized, relatively sharp, semi lustrous, golden color, gemmy, equant, rhombic scalenohedral crystals on minor matrix. The piece is in great shape overall, and displays very well. You don't see these specimens on the market anymore, and for a mid-west Calcite specimen, it's pretty darn good.
