A robust gold in quartz nugget, with thick veins reaching through the quartz mass. This is a rare Arizona specimen, which I obtained in an old collection. It is 14 ounces, or 438 grams. It is very hefty, and the gold is probably 85% or more of that mass. Joe Budd photos.
