Gemmy and lustrous emerald crystals are nicely placed on sparkly biotite schist matrix of this classic, old-time specimen from the Habach Valley of Austria. The large crystal is 1.5 cm, terminated and pristine. The emeralds have good color saturation. Collected in the 1800s or very early 1900s. Ex. Edna Doughty and Richard Hauck Collections.
