Crystals to 3 mm. Ruby red, gemmy spinel crystals, to .3 cm across sparkle in their vial. These are from the alluvial gem gravels of Sri Lanka Formerly in the collection of James E. Moresby White. Ex. Carnegie Museum Collection.
