An antique gold specimen from the old Colorado gold rush days of the late 1800s and early 1900s, this is classic Dixie Mine material: The piece is composed of "leaves" of gold made up of tiny, super-fine crystals grown together. From an old collection. Mesmerizing detail in person, as the human eye focuses better than the camera.
