According to Charlie Key, this is a plate of very rare Aegirine crystals from the Wessels Mine. These crystals, which completely cover one side of the matrix, range up to about .3 cm in size. They are pseudocubic in habit, and the luster is very good. An important specimen for its rarity, and for the well-formed crystals for the locality. Ex. Charlie Key.
