A splendent, gemmy, very sharp, burnt-orange with yellow highlights, vanadinite crystal thumbnail from the Old Yuma Mine, near Tucson, Arizona. Old Yuma vanadinites compare very favorably with the best United States vanadinites, including the Apache and Pure Potential (North Geronimo) Mines. Vanadinites of this quality were collected in the 1960s and 70s. Ex. Dick Jones Collection.
