I love these gorgeous calcites from Durango. The translucent-to-transparent crystals have the most wonderful silky luster, and bevels on the edges. They sometimes form twins, and in fact this specimen features a twin over 7 cm across. There are a few contacts, but most are limited to the usual ones at the periphery.
