How many CABINET-sized specimens of Jeffrey Mine vesuvianite have you ever seen? But yes, that is what you have here - a 12-cm triangular matrix completely covered with vesuvianite crystals with the coveted lavender color. They are gemmy little crystals, sparkly and lustrous, that are piled up in ridges and cluster. Large, rich specimens such as this have always been quite rare, but with the closing of the mine a few years ago, there is little from the Jeffrey Mine to be found around on the market anymore.
