Dramatic and sharp, this uncommon 'hedgehog' Calcite is desirable and attractive. The crystals are sharp and mostly pristine, with good luster and near-gemmy tips. Many of the crystals reach 2 cm in length, and all have a nice orange fluorescence. This was collected in 1993 and noted by Ross Lillie even at the time - he saved several from this pocket for his collection. Fine "hedgehog" aesthetics and unusual for the district. RCL 1962
