A showy and excellent two-sided specimen from the Cassandra Mine of Greece. Both sides of the sulfide matrix are covered with vivid, pastel-pink pseudomorphs of rhodochrosite after blocky rhombs of calcite. The large, skeletal rhomb is striking and measures 4.0 cm across. The overall specimen is in excellent condition. Rarely available, classic material from this well-known locale. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection.
