Mottramite is a common lead, copper, zinc, vanadium ore at Tsumeb, that rarely forms attractive specimens. This piece is a distinct exception, as this very fine, sculptural, cabinet specimen is a crust of botryoidal, moss-green mottramite on matrix. Damage-free, except along the periphery. This unusual looking elongate specimen has an exotic, biomorphic look to it.
