A CLASSIC and EXCELLENT specimen from a long-closed Sicily locality of lustrous, translucent, hexagonal, pastel-green aragonite crystals nicely set on limestone matrix. The gemmier pinacoid terminations show the star-like growth patterns of the crystals, which reach 2.2 cm. From an early 1970s find. INCREDIBLE pink fluorescence. Ex. George Elling Collection.
