A pristine, gemmy and lustrous, 3.7 cm, doubly terminated, clove-brown axinite crystal aesthetically set on matrix. This is CLASSIC and fine spear-shaped crystal from the famous French Type Locality - Bourg d'Oisans. Former Dallas collector Ed Ruggiero purchased this showy piece from Pala Properties in October of 1975. Highly representative of the species and locality.
