An unusually stark contrast between two colors makes this large smithsonite plate have a dramatic visual appeal. It is very lustrous, and shimmering in the light. From the Kerry Cooper collection of smithsonites from Refugio, now defunct and closed. The Kerry Cooper collection is widely considered the most significant Refugio collection and was sold to us earlier this year. Joe Budd Photos.
