Stately and dramatic display of fine Silver wires up to 4.4 cm tall perched on a substantial base of crystalline Silver providing wonderful contrasting textures. The Silver encrusted base (of massive Silver, itself) is 4.5 cm tall and is covered with glistening microcrystalline Silver and multitudes of tiny, short ribbons and wires clinging to the surface. There are a few pieces of white Calcite at the base of the wires that show some red iron staining. A well-balanced Silver on Silver specimen displaying a delightful artistic aesthetic. For a value, these new Chinese silvers are the best you can get in price range, and compare favorably to much more expensive, antique German silvers in style.
