RHODOCHROSITE, STILBITE, QUARTZ, PYRITE from Bulgaria, Smolyan Province, Starnitsa deposit

A beautiful specimen of rich pink rhodochrosite decorated with stilbite, quartz and pyrite from this less known Bulgarian mine - Starnitsa deposit, Davidkovo ore field, Rhodope Mts. It comes from a new find. It displays marvelous tender pink colored rosettes of rhodochrosite forming attractive clusters. The rhodochrosite is sparkling. Unique additions are lustrous and shiny cream stilbite crystals growing above. Colorless quartz crystals and small pyrites are seen too. In very good condition - some side contacts. On acrylic base.
