This specimen features somewhat frosted pinkish-red rhodochrosite crystals to 2 cm nestled between needle quartz crystals. While the rhodochrosite crystals don’t have the brightest luster, they are well-formed and have excellent aesthetic placement among the quartz crystals. Minor fluorite is also present. This is a fine example from this pocket, which was one of the last recovered from the SHM.
