Brand new rhodochrosite from Baker’s Pocket! Collected in October of 2023, Baker’s Pocket produced some beautiful specimens. Very reminiscent of the famous Hedgehog Pocket of 1996, these new specimens featured spectacular plates of needle quartz with cherry red, gemmy rhodochrosite associated with occasional hubnerite and fluorite. This specimen features sharp rhombs of gemmy rhodochrosite (averaging 1 cm across) with fantastic color that shines under good lighting. In good condition with sharp corners, less a few small areas of chipping and/or contact. Very aesthetic and classic looking Sweet Home/ Detroit City specimen.
