A highly lustrous and deeply colored example of manganoan calcite from the Montreal Mine in Wisconsin. This mine produced some of the US’s most intriguing examples of this calcite variety, as well as world-class hematite, barite, and more. This is a particularly fine example from the mine, with top quality, color, and aesthetics. It also features a neat DT barite crystal on the back. See video.
