A classic for both Mexico and the species, the El Refugio Mine has produced some of the world’s finest and most colorful smithsonites. This lustrous 2-sided blue botryoidal smithsonite specimen features a beautiful deep green/blue color which lightens to a purple hue along the periphery and in the center. Very nice! This specimen is notable for being a very early addition to the Spann collection – with a catalog number of 13.
