Cleaved water worn topaz on a custom base from Sri Lanka 9.0 x 6.0 x 2.0cm. Large transparent colorless topaz crystal that cleaved to provide a broad, glassy face into the gemmy interior. The outer surfaces of the topaz are rounded due to alluvial action. Has custom-made black base for display. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #502b; acquired from a street vendor in 1985.
