This stunning gem aquamarine crystal is very fine on its own merits but a closer inspection reveals the prize: a sharp included aquamarine WITHIN the larger crystal's termination, fully included. You can look down the top of the crystal, and see the internal side-angled aquamarine from almost an inch in depth - or from the front on the normal viewing angle for this piece. The termination is approximately 1.5 x 1.3 cm wide. The inclusion itself extends from one edge, slightly down-angled, to at least 1 cm within the larger crystal. Everything is window-pane transparent, and so you can clearly see this. For whatever reasons, such inclusions of crystals within crystals are very rare in most gem species, and this is a very unique specimen in that the inclusion is so easily seen and prominently displayed. From a small find in 2024, we obtained only this one piece (which we were told was unique in the pocket). The aquamarine itself displays very nicely, as a refined small cabinet specimen. The inclusion is the bonus that makes it a talking piece! No repairs or restoration.
