This is quite a cute Wheal Jane specimen. Balls, or nodules of metallic silvery-gold Marcasite (to 2.6 cm in diameter) sit on, and around the base of a Milky Quartz matrix. Most prominent, is an upright terminated prismatic Quartz crystal, 2.4 cm tall, showing complex 'stepped' tiny triangular (pyramidal) faces all the way up the outside of its prism sides. Highly distinctive, this individual crystal, and indeed its association with Marcasite, makes for a lovely small display. Ex Mike Brooke collection, no. MB0006.
