Cerussite with Baryte
Unknown Owner
This is a rather fun miniature specimen from Morocco. Blending primary and secondary minerals, it features a small (1.6 cm long) iron oxide stained cockscomb aggregate of Baryte crystals either end of which gemmy Cerussite crystals have formed. The main Cerussite crystal is quite large, measuring 3.9 cm across, with some very sharp, highly reflective crystal faces but with some surfaces impinged by inclusions of other crystals or inclusions. At the other end of the Baryte cluster, is a perfect, 1.1 cm wide gemmy Cerussite crystal. Ex Nick Hawes collection and ex Gavin Malcolm collection.
