Dimensions: 5.4 x 4.1 x 4.8cm
Locality: Sar-e-Sang, Kuran wa Munjan District, Badakhshan, Afghanistan
A rare specimen of perfectly crystallized Haüyne, the size of the crystal (2.5 x 2 cm) is remarkable, the crystal is complete with its well-formed crystal faces. The color is excellent, an electric blue typical for this mineral, despite its exceptional size the crystal is partially gemmy and forms a very aesthetic whole with its Calcite matrix. Coming from the famous Sar-e Sang deposit known for its Lazurites, this piece represents a very beautiful museum reference for this mineral.
Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
The mineral is not glued to the base (soft mastic).
