Dimensions: 6 x 5.2 x 4.5cm Locality: Ahmednagar District, Nashik Division, Maharashtra, India Magnificent novelty! An extraordinary pocket of Apophyllite discovered in end of year 2023. The crystals have a luminosity and sparkle never seen before, as soon as Apophyllite are illuminated, the light is returned in a sparkling manner, the white matrix of stilbite adding contrast to this mirror effect. These microcrystals form very aesthetic spheres with crystallization perfect. These pieces remind me by their appearance of certain Rhodochrosites from South Africa (Typically "the N'Chwanning" snail") which have this density of color and this incomparable shine. Apophyllite dimension: diameter 1.5cm Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not stuck to the base (soft putty).
