Dimensions: 5.5 x 4.4 x 4.2cm Location: Xia Yang Mine, Xia Yang city, Yongchun Co., Quanzhou, Fujian, China These calcites from Fujian are remarkable. Highly prized in China, they are now rarely found in Europe. With striated crystalline faces, exceptional brightness, brilliance, and a gem, the ensemble offers a very attractive display piece. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base (soft mastic).
