Dimensions: 9 x 7.2 x 9.7cm Locality: Piedra Parada, Tatatila, Veracruz, Mexico The architecture of this Veracruz amethyst quartz is incredible; the whole thing appears to float, the base composed of flawless, double-terminated crystals. The main crystal measures 8 cm. While attractive small clusters are readily available, pieces of this size with such beauty remain rare. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base (flexible sealant).
