Spessartite Garnet on Orthoclase
Dimensions: 5.1 x 3.6cm
Location: Shigar Valley, Skardu district, Karakoram, Pakistan
A spectacular contrast. On a base of brilliant crystallized orthoclase, an excellent crystallization of a spessartite, edges are perfectly drawn, the color luminous and deep. (dimension of the crystal 1.2cm)
Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
The mineral is not glued to the base.
