Like two amber-coloured stepped towers rising up from a hollow and slightly domed Calcite/Dolomite matrix, the Calcite 'prisms' are quite distinctive and with a veil of golden Pyrite surrounding their base they present very nicely as an unusual large miniature specimen. There is a little light bruising to some parts of the Calcite crystals, but these unusual and dramatic qualities outweigh any slight scuffs. Plus, specimens from the ancient silver-mining Marienberg District are so rarely seen available. Ex Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021) Collection.
