From the generations old Weyand family collection in Tsumeb, Namibia comes this really classy small cabinet Calcite specimen from the world famous Tsumeb mine. Upon it, a line of intergrown colourless glassy rhombs of Calcite gracefully snake along, underneath which a dappled green and brick orange-red matrix provide a shot of colour. The base of the Calcite crystals reveals mossy green growths of Mottramite, seen like viewing the inside of an aquarium. The Calcite crystals reach to over 2 cm on edge and most are perfectly sharp, although at one end a Calcite crystal is missing one corner, which appears to be a cleaved surface.
