Similar in colour and shape to the famous Rudny Calcite from Kazakhstan, this stunning Indian Calcite from the Jalgaon District is much gemmier than even the very best of the Kazakh specimens, and with a sharp, pointed Fluorapophyllite-(K) crystal protruding up from one end there can be no confusing where this is from. The large 'curved' rhombic crystals of Calcite are twinned, and intensely glossy and transparent, with a sumptuous rich sherry colour. A very classy Indian specimen of the highest calibre. It comes with its own custom-made acryllic Sunnywood display stand.
