This fine cabinet-sized display Calcite from Tsumeb mine presents a lovely pure aggregate of glassy to translucent, pale pink, sharp rhombic crystals in stepped growths. Minor abrasion to crystal edges, or corners, can been seen around the sides of the specimen, but the main display face is in really great condition and shows how well-crystallized the Calcite from this world-famous mine gets, with crystals reaching over 3 cm on edge. Minor pale green powdery Mottramite can be seen on the back of the specimen. Ex Weyand Collection.
