When one mentions Calcite from Tsumeb mine collectors are probably most likely to envisage rhombic crystals included with pale green Duftite or darker green Mottramite, such are the wonderful combinations seen in classic specimens. This very colourful large miniature lime-green Calcite is very much an older classic, with green Duftite inclusions forming very well defined rhombic cores to the colourless Calcite crystals. The Calcite crystals are small, at up to 5 mm on edge, but in excellent condition and with one of the all-time great types of colour zonation imparted by the Duftite. Choice material, and Ex Weyand Collection.
