Quite distinctive in form, the way the two rounded orbs of sparkling crystallized colourless to pale creamy-white calcite sit upon a white Dolomite plate with a single small green spherical spray of Malachite presents in a very artistic way. At small cabinet in size this is a really fine visual piece - the two Calcite aggregates reaching 3 and 2.5 cm in diameter and the Malachite 4.5 mm across. The Calcite orbs are composed of very many small clustered colourless rhombic crystals and the Dolomite matrix is actually a fine, snow-like coating of pearlescent white Dolomite upon a bed of small flesh-pink rhombic crystals. From the famous Tsumeb mine in Namibia, and from the generations-old Weyand Collection in Tsumeb town just adds more and more quality to this superb smaller display piece.
