This color variety turns up infrequently within small pockets at Merelani, the mines famous for Tanzanite, which is primarily blue zoisite. This beautiful, gemmy, parallel-growth zoisite has glassy, pink, slender crystals that cluster such that they portray a striking, modern skyscraper. This is a wonderful and untreated zoisite miniature with exotic color, sculptural form, and a mild orange fluorescence under LW. Slender and elegant, it is space filling without bring massive per se. With a mass of 1.64 grams, this aesthetic piece is a treasure.
