An aesthetic grouping of sharply crystallized native copper, this exhibiting twinned tetrahexahedrons. In super condition. The specimen at one time was part of the George B Robbe collection at the Seaman Mineral Museum at Michigan Tech University. George B. Robbe (1884 to 1963) was a Michigan Tech alumnus and mining engineer who worked at the Quincy Mine and later at Bingham Canyon, Utah. He and his wife assembled a significant mineral collection that included both crystallized specimens and lapidary material. After his death, the collection was donated to the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum in the late 1960s.
