Brilliant lustrous sparkling red crystals of vanadinite averaging 0.3 cm in size across a dark calcite rich matrix. This is in very good condition. This would have been collected in the late 1980s or early 1990s.The Pure Potential Mine in La Paz County, Arizona, formerly known as the North Geronimo Mine, is a lead and copper mining locality in the Plomosa Mountains. The deposit occurs in mineralized veins hosted in volcanic rocks and has been worked intermittently since the early 20th century. In more recent times the mine has become known among mineral collectors for producing well crystallized vanadinite and wulfenite from the oxidized zones of the deposit.
