The world standard for babingtonite crystals was blown out of the water when these incredible specimens first started to make their way out of China in the mid-2000s. These exceptional babingtonite crystals redefined quality and size for the species. While a New England specimen may still be more desirable and prized, it is hard to deny the sheer impressiveness of these Chinese specimens. Very neat, with a quartz and prehnite association.
