This is one you don’t see every day! A truly exceptional combination specimen of galena and sphalerite from the Mogul Mine, in the Silvermines District of Ireland. This is a remarkably fine example for the species, with highly lustrous crystals of both galena and sphalerite. This specimen was previously in the collections of Irv Brown, Richard W. Barstow , Paul Lowe, and Emmanuel C. Bravis, and is featured on the Mindat page for the locale with a photo by Jeff Scovil. Includes custom base.
