This mineral species is rarely seen in discrete crystals. On this matrix covered in green smears of devilline are two crystals sitting in a vug. The deep green crystals display a foliated appearance, much like mica. The largest crystal is .4 cm across. This is a specimen which could be trimmed, to imrpove aesthetics and tighten the view. THIS AND THE FOLLOWING SPECIMENS ARE FROM THE COTYPE (1864) AND MOST IMPORTANT LOCALE FOR THE SPECIES. SPECIMENS OF THIS QUALITY ARE EXCEEDINGLY RARE!
