A beautiful alpine specimen featuring glassy, translucent albite crystals measuring up to 2.7 cm richly covering the matrix and attractively accented by fine green microcrystals of chlorite. The albite shows bright luster creating excellent contrast with the chlorite. The specimen is in good condition with only very minimal damage noted and is accompanied by an antique label dating to the early 20th century, as shown at the end of the video, adding strong historical provenance and collector appeal. Rischuna Alp is part of the renowned Surselva region of Switzerland, famous for classic Alpine cleft mineralization formed during Alpine tectonic activity, which produced well crystallized feldspar, quartz, and associated minerals highly prized by collectors.
