Olmiite
N'Chwaning Mine II, Kuruman, KMF, Northern Cape, South Africa
7.4 x 5.6 x 2.4 cm
ex. Des Sacco
This Olmiite is an exquisite matrix specimen from the famous N’Chwaning II find of the early 2000’s. This is a beautiful reddish-pink, small cabinet piece of superb quality, featuring a focal, spherical group of translucent crystals just over 3cm, dramatically flanked by several additional Olmiite “balls.” Such size is uncommon and sits nicely on a thin matrix. Color varies under different temperature lighting! An outstanding specimen.
