Wulfenite with druzy quartz coating, 2.5 cm, from the Finch mine, Dripping Springs Mountains, Arizona; collected with David Shannon and Walter Johnson in 1978. This place was re-named the Barking Spider mine by Jimmy Vacek, and the limestone there is about the hardest rock on the planet. Malcolm Alter photo.
