Natrolite, 3.5 cm, from the Horseshoe Dam zeolite deposit, Maricopa County, Arizona; collected in 1977 with the entire Shannon clan. On this trip our Bronco and campsite got trapped on an island in the Verde River during a raging forest fire. It didn’t slow us down. Malcolm Alter photo.
